Great that you’re here - I’m guessing you want to know a little more about who I am. Today I am back, full of life, direction and purpose.

But it’s important that you know: It wasn’t always like this. My healing didn’t happen overnight. It was messy, painful, and slow. But it happened. And I’m living proof that change is possible—even when everything feels impossible.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Denmark with an alcoholic mother who eventually took her own life in the misery of her addiction.
So yes, I know the true pain of addiction.

AND OF COURSE, IT DIDN'T STOP THERE

I married an alcoholic, escaped to India for three years with my son, fell in love with a businessman addicted to cocaine, and got out.

Then I moved to Sweden and married a farmer—who turned out to be a full blown sexaddict.
Seventeen years later, we divorced. Now here I am helping women like me get some clarity faster.

My story

Down, but not out

I’ve been at rock bottom—crying on the kitchen floor, hoping, begging, yelling... In 2020, I filed for divorce for the third time (same man). I know....

I bought an apartment and left. We have a good relationship today; we have a daughter to raise.

And all the while, I was working as a successful addiction consultant for Tetra Pak, one of Sweden’s biggest companies.
I have helped hundreds of addicts get clean.
And yet, I couldn’t help the man I loved.

The shame? Unbearable.
The defeat? Brutal.
Addiction had won—again.

My mission is simple

I want to give you the insight I wish I had.
I want to help you find clarity when everything feels foggy.
And I want to support you in making clear, clever, soul-strong decisions—for you, and for your children (if you have them).

I truly believe you’re here for a reason.
And I believe in you.

A bit more about me, Ellen Krogh

I moved from addiction coaching to codependency work because I’ve lived it—and because loving an addict changes a woman in ways few people see.

HELPING WOMEN THRIVE IS WHERE MY HEART IS

I’m Danish, based in Sweden, and I’ve spent the past two decades helping people untangle what keeps them stuck—whether it’s addiction, relationships, patterns, or pain.

I’m a certified therapist in Transactional Analysis with a background in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and I’m currently training in the 15 Method for addiction recovery. I’m also a trained facilitator in SMART Recovery—a science-based, secular approach to overcoming addiction and habit change.

In 2022, I became a certified Breath Coach.

In 2016, I completed my training as an Enneagram Practitioner and Certified HPEI Trainer. I sit on the board of the Swedish Enneagram Association.

I hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and have studied theology at the University of Copenhagen. I also have basic training in Gestalt therapy and many years of experience as a personal leadership coach in the private sector.

I’ve run my own business in addiction recovery, Newhabit, for almost 20 years. Since 2024 my main business is
